Van Buren County Senior Services
All Casco property owners are now eligible to participate in Van Buren Senior Services activities at the South Haven facility as well the Casco satellite location and other satellites in the system. If your driver's license has your Casco address on it that is all you need to register. If your driver's license has a different address, you will need your driver's license as proof that you are 60 or older along with your Casco property tax bill. A wide variety of activities are offered each day along with $5 lunches, pickleball, a walking track and the opportunity to sign up for day trips as well as trips to locations like Vermont, Kentucky, and Hawaii. Casco Senior Services Mission
Forty percent of Casco residents are 60 and older. In addition to participating in the activities and services offered in South Haven, our mission here in Casco is two-fold:

  • Help our seniors maintain wellness and independence as long as possible by offering opportunities for you to socialize, exercise, and maintain cognitive strengths by learning and trying new things.
  • To help our home-bound seniors connect with services to live in their homes independently as long as possible with the support of Allegan transportation, meals, personal care visits.
